Total Credits Required

In order to graduate from high school, you need a total of 26 credits. These credits must be made up of specific content areas and requirements, which are explained in more detail on this page.

English

Four of the 26 credits need to be English courses. Here is a typical 4-year schedule for English. The specific course you take depends on the academy that you are enrolled in.

Social Studies

Health and PE

All students are required to have a half of a credit in PE and a half of a credit in health.  For students who take 3 semesters of ROTC, the health and PE requirement is fulfilled.

Requirements for Spanish

Foreign Language Requirement

Students who plan to attend a 4-year college must take two credits of Spanish.
